Sharpening The Knife…
Since 1984…I’ve gone to work each day. Often times that meant getting on an airplane and flying somewhere and most of the times it meant going into a hospital or working in an office. Starting next week, I take a new direction for six months.
I love to cook and more importantly, I love to cook for other people. That has always been a hobby. Next week I start a two month Italian language and cooking course in Jesi at Italcook Cooking Courses. Immediately following the course, I will start a four month estage at Al Vedel near Parma make salami and culatelli while also working in the kitchen.
This is a bit of a “sharpening the saw” exercise – taking what I enjoy and immersing myself into it totally. I’m looking forward to sharing what I learn via stories, photos, recipes and links to interesting places and foods on my blog at www.cineri.com. I’m also looking forward to visitors…I’ll be posting an itinerary of where I’ll be working and traveling to. If you are in Italy during the next six months, please join me. — in Jesi, Marche, Italy.
